Sheriff: Teen used Samurai sword to kill stepfather

JASPER, Ga. -
A 16-year-old boy was arrested Friday night after stabbing his stepfather, according to the Pickens County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said they responded to the 100 block of Fern Creek Court in Jasper after receiving a 911 call about an argument around 11:55 p.m. They arrived to find the Christopher Allen, 36, of Jasper, had been stabbed by a sword.
Allen was rushed to Kennestone Hospital where he died in surgery. Sheriff Donnie Craig said the teen stabbed Allen with a Samurai-style collector's sword.
The teen's name has not been released, but authorities have charged him with murder. He is scheduled to make his first appearance on Monday.
He is currently being held in the Juvenile Detention Center in Dalton.
