Malls weren't the only places crowds of shoppers gathered in search of Black Friday deals. A line of anxious shoppers wrapped around the Brandsmart in Doraville when doors just before its doors at 10 p.m. on Thursday.
Managers said that 3,000 people went through the store's doors during the first hour that it was open.
Many shoppers said that TVs and tablets were what they were after, according to store manager Dave Samela.
While some bargain hunters said they were looking for gifts, others said their carts were full of gifts for themselves.
For those exhausted after a long day of shopping, the store offered massage chairs.
