ATLANTA -
Just when is it completely inappropriate to text? That's the question Virgin Mobile Live posed that question to smart phone users recently.
They found that 25 percent of those that responded did not ignore texts at funerals, 23 percent picked up their phone during sex, and 20 percent would text while in a meeting with the boss.
The study, which was recently featured by intomobile.com, went on to say that 20 percent of married people were hesitant to hand their smart phone over to their significant other. About 40 percent of them said they even erased incriminating data from their phones so it would not be seen by them.
And it might be a good thing they do wipe those texts, pictures, and video as 44 percent of women admitted to snooping on their partner's device without their knowledge. That's just 5 percent more than the men who responded.
So, what are your texting habits? When is it completely inappropriate to check you texts? And are you hiding something on your smart phone? Let us know at Facebook.com/FOX5Atlanta.
