Atlanta police are trying to find a gunman after a man was shot early on Friday morning.

Authorities say a man was shot in the stomach at the Ashley West End Apartments on Lee Street just after 5 a.m. The man was transported to an area hospital, and police say his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

Police are investigating the case as a possible robbery.
