Sandy Springs fire displaces four families

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -

Four families were displaced shortly after midnight when flames broke out at a Sandy Springs apartment complex.

Authorities say the fire started in a stairwell at the complex on Roswell Road. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the building.

No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
