Wedding Angels Bridal Boutique in Roswell gave away dozens of wedding dresses to the future wives of servicemen.
The brides had their pick of a designer dream dress at no cost on Tuesday. Many couple's wedding dates are quickly approaching because of deployment, so the brides said the dress giveaway was a big relief.
Marketta Johnson was one of the brides-to-be to receive the gift.
"I want to make him teary-eyed and I think it will," she said.
Some brides arrived as early at 3 a.m. in hopes of securing a designer gown that sometimes can cost thousands of dollars.
This is the fifth year Wedding Angel Bridal has helped military brides. Last year they gave away more than 100 dresses.
