Fulton County police say two people were injured following a shootout at an extended stay motel on Tuesday.

Police say the shooting occurred at the Extend A Suites at 4430 Frederick Drive in southwest Atlanta. They say a man and a woman got into argument in the parking lot, and fired shots at each other. Both were hit, and the woman left in a vehicle. She was found a short time later.

They were taken to Grady Hospital, according to police. Their conditions are not known.

What started the argument is not known.
