Police are searching for a man they say accidentally shot his 5-month-old son in the foot on Sunday.
It happened in the 1300 block of Stoneleigh Hill Road near Stone Mountain. Police say the 19-year-old Keymon Jackson is on the run after the shooting. He was last seen driving a 1991 Geo Prism.
Police plan to charge him with tampering with evidence, reckless conduct and possession of a firearm by a felon.
The infant is recovering at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
