Marcus Wasilewski threw four touchdown passes Saturday to lead Maine to a 51-7 victory over Georgia State in the final game for retiring Panthers coach Bill Curry.
The Black Bears (4-6, 3-4 Colonial Athletic Association) led 10-0 after two possessions. Wasilewski opened the game with a 46-yard run to the Georgia State 44, then hit Maurice McDonald on a 17-yard scoring pass.
Two of Wasilewski's touchdown passes were much longer: a 69-yarder to Damarr Aultman that came shortly after Nigel Jones went 79 yards with a screen pass to score. Maine scored 21 points in the second quarter and 17 in the third to lead 48-3.
Ricky Stevens rushed for 179 yards and a touchdown for the Black Bears.
For Georgia State (1-10, 1-7), its only touchdown came on a 22-yard pass from Ben McLane to Danny Williams. Travis Evans led the Panthers with 77 yards rushing.
