Ga. Rep. Tom Price wins re-election to Congress

ATLANTA (AP) - Voters have decided to return Republican Rep. Tom Price of Roswell to Washington.

The four-term congressman defeated Democratic challenger Jeff Kazanow at the polls Tuesday. Unofficial returns showed Price had 64% of the vote with 36% of precincts reporting in Georgia's 6th District.

Price's district covers portions of Cobb, Fulton and DeKalb counties. The congressman has held the seat since 2004.

In addition to representing a district that leans heavily Republican, Price had $1.6 million to defend his seat in the last month of the campaign.

Kazanow, a business consultant from Roswell, failed to raise enough money to mount a serious challenge.
