Police: 3 girls hit by car in Douglas County - Atlanta News, Weather, Traffic, and Sports | FOX 5

Police in Douglas County say three young girls were hit by a car early on Tuesday morning.

According to authorities, they were hit while walking in the right lane of Maxham Road near the Birch Lake Apartments at around 1:30 a.m. They say one of the girls told police they were walking to a nearby store when they were hit.

Police say one of the victims was taken to Grady, one to Egleston, and one was treated locally. One of the victims is in serious condition.

Police say the driver, 22-year-old Crystal Marshall from Chicago, is facing several charges including driving under the influence.
