ATLANTA -

The Lingerie Football League has announced that Atlanta's new franchise will be known as the Steam.

The LFL says that name was the one most often submitted by fans in almost 4,300 submissions.

The Steam will begin playing at the Gwinnett Arena for the 2013 season.

The team's first-ever football combine open tryout on Saturday, November 10 at 1 p.m. at Score Indoor in Fairburn.  You're asked to arrive an hour early, and you should bring with you a completed application and waiver form as well as a photo to leave behind.  Competitors should wear athletic gym attire.

Those hoping for a roster spot on the new Atlanta franchise will be tested in speed, agility, strength and focus.  The league says a lucky few will advance to compete in the 2012 Atlanta franchise mini-camp.
