Police are seeking suspects after an 89-year-old woman was tied up during a home invasion in Athens and robbed of her jewelry.
Athens-Clarke County police say the crime happened Monday night at her home on the city's east side.
She told police the two men barged into her home on Lexington Road and claimed to have a gun. After tying her up, she told police they fled in a van.
The Athens Banner-Herald reports (http://bit.ly/Tks0ap) that police are looking for the van used by the two men. It's described as a white 15-passenger Dodge van that appears to have been converted into a work truck.
Investigators obtained surveillance photos from a nearby bank, which they believe show the van around the time of the robbery.
