ATLANTA -
The leader of the south Fulton mega church which was the location of a deadly shooting Wednesday morning called on his congregation to help the family of the victim.
Rev. Creflo Dollar asked his World Changers International Church to help raise over $234,000 for the family of Gregory McDowell during church services Sunday. Dollar said he wanted to eliminate the family's debts leaving them to focus on healing. They have set up an account at Regions Bank.
Police say McDowell was gunned down by 51-year-old Floyd Palmer, an employee of the church since August. He faces murder charges. He remains in the Fulton County Jail without bond.

After bonding out on a 15-count criminal indictment, DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis denied any wrongdoing, saying "I've done nothing wrong."
