Posted: Updated:
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -

How long would you be willing to wait in line to cast your vote for President of the United States?

Some voters in metro Atlanta waited up to seven hours in line for a chance to cast a ballot during early voting hours on Saturday.

Crews for FOX 5 News were out in Gwinnett County. Many voters expressed their frustration that there were not more resources devoted to rare Saturday voting opportunity.

Polls were open Saturday for seven hours starting at 9 a.m., but some counties stayed open well past 4 p.m. due to the long lines.

State officials say that over 780,000 voters have cast their ballot so far.

The official Election Day is November 6.
