Fulton County authorities say a registered sex-offender is back behind bars, accused of violating the terms of his probation.
Demetrius Thompson had served as a volunteer parent for the Bear Creek Middle School and Creekside High School band programs. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Thomspon went on several field trips where he was in close contact with children.
Court records show Thompson was convicted on two counts of aggravated child molestation in 2004.
