Festival recalls moonshine and racing days

DAWSONVILLE, Ga. -

Did you know that NASCAR has its origins in Georgia's moonshine running days of the 1930s? The Mountain Moonshine Festival in Dawsonville explores Georgia's history during the Prohibition Era when liquor was illegal, and the hard economic times of the Depression.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken is at the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame to take a look at the upcoming Mountain Moonshine Festival.
