ATLANTA -

Police are looking for two people who crashed their vehicle after driving through a checkpoint in northeast Atlanta early Wednesday morning.

Atlanta police say they tried to stop a white truck at Woodland Avenue and Cheshire Bridge Road, but the driver kept going. They say an officer followed the vehicle, but realized no one was inside of it.

The truck rolled down a hill and crashed into a sign.

A witness said they saw two people bail out of the truck and run toward a nearby apartment complex.
