Hearing held for teen accused of killing great-grandmother with sword

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. -

A competency hearing will continue on Wednesday for the teen accused of killing his great-grandmother with a sword.

Prosecutors say 16-year-old Gevin Prince murdered the 77-year-old in August 2011 when the two got into an argument over video games.

The teen has undergone two mental evaluations since the deadly attack.

State psychologists found him competent to stand trial, but back in June a local psychologist disputed those findings.

Prince is charged as an adult.
