Georgia Lottery officials say a Bartow County woman struck it rich playing the instant game 50X The Money. Winning the instant game earned Karen Privette of Adairsville a $1 million.
Lottery officials say the winning ticket was sold at Big Shanty Superette in Kennesaw.
Privette told lottery officials she wants to pay off bills, pay off her daughters' cars, pay off her car, and buy her husband a new car. She says she also wants to pay off her mom's credit card.
Lottery officials presented her oversized check on Friday at the store where she bought the winning ticket.
