SWAT situation ends, man found dead - Atlanta News, Weather, Traffic, and Sports | FOX 5

A SWAT situation that lasted slightly over three hours in Gwinnett County has ended.

Police believed a shooting suspect was inside a home on Thompson Mill Road in Buford. After trying to make contact with several hours, SWAT members went in the house and found a man dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The suspect was wanted out of Braselton for firing shots in an incident there.

The name of the man has not been released.
