DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -
Police have found a wheelchair accessible van stolen from a DeKalb County woman.
On Wednesday, FOX 5 first reported on Sophia Powers, whose wheelchair van was stolen that morning. She drives the van to undergo therapy at Shepherd Spinal Center as well as take her three sons to football practice.
Powers told us she didn't know how she could get by without it.
Powers informed FOX 5 on Thursday that DeKalb County police have found the van.
It appears that the crooks ripped out her ignition and also tried to get the wheelchair ramp but couldn't.
She ended up having to pay $125 to get the van off an impound lot.
