Teen battling cancer gets makeover

Lindsay Simmons got a makeover on Wednesday.

A local teen who has been battling cancer for more than half her life got a special makeover on Wednesday.

Lindsay Simmons, 13, has lymphoblastic leukemia, a cancer of the blood and bone marrow.

She's already received one bone marrow transplant, but now the teen needs another one.

Three-13 Salon, Spa and Boutique gave Lindasy the royal treatment on Wednesday.

The spunky teen decided to color her hair bright pink -- her favorite color and the color of breast cancer awareness, which is this month.

Lindsay also got a manicure, pedicure and her make-up done.
