Agents shoot man during alleged drug bust in Paulding County

PAULDLING COUNTY, Ga. -

Agents with a drug task force in Paulding County shot a man during an alleged drug bust on Wednesday.

The incident happened at a home on Nebo Road after agents went to a house to execute a search warrant.

A Paulding County Sheriff's spokesman said when the agents entered the house, a 60-year-old man pulled a weapon on them.

The agents opened fire on the man, hitting him once.

The sheriff's office said the house had been under investigation.

The man was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital and is in critical condition. His name has not been released.
