Grocery store in NE Atlanta evacuated after fire

ATLANTA -

Firefighters had to evacuate a Kroger store in northeast Atlanta overnight Wednesday when a fire broke out in a storage room.

It happened in the Edgewood retail district just south of Little Five Points.

Stacks of boxes and pallets in the back of the building reportedly caught fire.

Firefighters say the store's sprinkler system kept the flames from spreading.

No one was hurt.
