Sheriff's officials say they have made a major drug and gambling bust a convenience store in Calhoun.
A spokesperson for the Gordon County Sheriff's Office tells FOX 5 News that they executed a search warrant at the store on the corner on Georgia Highway 53 and U.S. Highway 41 in Calhoun on Wednesday evening.
They say they have seized a significant amount of methamphetamines as well as cash.
Several arrests were made and they are expected to charge most with drug trafficking, commercial gambling, and racketeering.
Officials say this is the culmination of a four-month investigation. The sheriff's office says it will release more details on the arrests and busts on Thursday morning.
