Police had to briefly reroute traffic in a part of Johns Creek on Tuesday while crews hoisted a new church steeple into place.

JOHNS CREEK, Ga. -

Police had to briefly reroute traffic in a part of Johns Creek on Tuesday while crews hoisted a new church steeple into place.

The new steeple is for Johns Creek United Methodist Church's new sanctuary.

The 40-foot steeple was custom built in Utah, and shipped in more than a dozen segments inside five tractor trailers.
