The family of a Gainesville man missing for over a year is offering a $7,500 reward in the case.

According to police, Thomas Funk Jr., 48, was last seen during the evening hours on Saturday, October 1, 2011 by his roommate on Oconee Circle in Gainesville. When the roommate awoke early Sunday morning, Funk was gone, and his cell phone and car were left behind.

Funk has an injured foot, and was treated at an emergency room for a wound resulting from an accident at home before he vanished, say police.

Police say the family is offering the reward for information leading to his recovery.

If anyone information on the whereabouts of Funk, please contact 911 or call the Hall County Sheriff's Office at 770-531-6879.
