ATLANTA (AP) - Tuesday is the deadline for Georgians to register to vote if they want to participate in the general election on Nov. 6.
Anyone can confirm their voter registration status through the Georgia secretary of state's website. The site also provides access to applications, instructions and information about where counties will host early voting sites.
Aside from the presidential race, Georgia has 14 state Senate and 43 state House seats on the ballot in contested elections.
Voters will also decide whether to amend the state Constitution regarding the authorization of charter schools and how the state can rent buildings for its use.
