A 5-year-old girl with cerebral palsy is being called an inspiration to the Doraville community and now that community is coming together to help her.
They are trying to raise money for Schuyler Regna, who is confined to a wheelchair, so the family can get a specialized handicap accessible van.
Friends, neighbors, and even strangers gathered Sunday night to help out. A silent auction and raffle was held in Stone Mountain to bring the family closer to that goal.
Anyone who wishes to help can go to any Wells Fargo banks and donate to the "Van for Schuyler" account.
The Regnas tell FOX 5 News that they hope to start a nonprofit foundation to help other families in similar situations in the futures.
