A 72-year-old Oconee County hunter missing since Wednesday near a camp in Olethorpe County was found safe Sunday morning.
Fire officials tell FOX 5 that Don Truluck was found around 10 a.m. Sunday about a mile from the hunting camp along Bryant Road just off Georgia Highway 77 south of Maxeys.. He was transported to Athens Regional Medical Center in stable condition.
Truluck was last seen Wednesday afternoon. His disappearance prompted the largest search and rescue operations in the county's history.
Over 160 people from 21 different agencies participated in Sunday's search.
Truluck is the father of Oconee County assistant fire chief.
