Police are searching for a 75-year-old woman with Alzheimer's in southwest Atlanta
A spokesperson for the Atlanta Police Department tells FOX 5 News that Juanita Reed was last seen on Mays Avenue around 5 p.m. Saturday.
Police used their helicopter to search by air while officers went door-to-door on the ground. They are working with the group "A Child is Missing" to get the word out to nearby residents to keep an eye out for her.
Reed is part of Project Lifesaver which is a non-profit organization that helps in keeping safe and finding "at risk" members of the population. They are assisting with specialized tracking equipment.
