A run in Savannah will honor a Georgia Bureau of Investigation agent and three members of the U.S. Customs Service killed in a crash.
The Savannah Morning News reports that the "Run To Remember" set for Oct. 18 will be held in memory of GBI Special Agent William Levi DeLoach. He died along with three federal agents in a 1993 helicopter crash near the Altamaha River.
The run is expected to include 25 recruits, up to 175 law enforcement officers and others.
After the run, a wreath honoring DeLoach will be placed in front of a GBI office.
