ATLANTA -

A Georgia Tech student fell from the stands at Bobby Dodd Stadium during the Yellow Jacket's game against Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders.

A spokesperson for Georgia Tech tells FOX 5 News that a freshman fell about ten to 15 feet from the student section. The student was treated for a shoulder injury at Grady Memorial Hospital and later released to his parent's care. It is believed the student was leaning over the railing while talking to someone when he fell into one of the stadium entrances.

This is the second fall at the stadium in two weeks and the third stadium fall in Atlanta within a month. Last week, a man fell 25 feet into a service area near Gate 8. He was treated for his injuries and later released.

On August 31, Isaac Grubb, 20, of Lenoir City, Tenn. died after falling from an upper level at the Georgia Dome during Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game between Tennessee and North Carolina State. Authorities say alcohol may have been a factor in that incident.
