CARROLLTON, Ga. (AP) - Police in Georgia say Auburn University wide receiver Quan Bray was arrested during a traffic stop on the campus of the University of West Georgia.
Police say the sophomore was stopped on the campus in Carrollton around 11 p.m. Thursday for playing loud music. During the traffic stop officers realized he was driving on a limited permit and found an open bottle of alcohol in the car.
Police say Bray hadn't been drinking.
Bray faces charges of loud music and possession of alcohol under 21, as well as a driver's permit violation. A report on al.com says Bray was held in Carroll County jail overnight and was released on bond around 10 a.m. Friday.
Auburn says head coach Gene Chizik will address the incident on Sunday after practice. Copyright 2012 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
