Get Up and Go: Riverview Landing Fall Festival

MABLETON, Ga. -

If you are looking to Get Up and Go, you may want to try one of the fall festivals around the metro Atlanta area.

Less than 15 miles northwest of Atlanta in Cobb County is the home of the Second Annual Riverview Landing Fall Festival in Mableton.

Riverview Landing is right on the Chattahoochee River and the Fall Festival begins Friday night with an urban hoedown.

In addition to live music, there's also a hairy man contest, bonfires, and hot air balloon rides.

There's also a corn maze, hay rides, pony rides, arts and crafts booths, food trucks and a people's choice BBQ contest.

The festival is open Friday from 6 to 11 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
