ATLANTA -

The front yard of one DeKalb County home looked more like a geyser early Friday morning.

Water from broken main shot about 50 feet into the air just after 4:30 a.m. Friday.

The man who rents the Bramblewood Drive property tells FOX 5 News that he recently contacted the water department after receiving a $400 water bill. The main erupted prior to a crew being dispatched out to inspect the lines.

Water service in the area was restored about three hours later.
