ATLANTA -

Friends and relatives gathered on Thursday to remember a mother and daughter who were murdered in southwest Atlanta.

A candlelight vigil for Tiki and Demiya Griffin was held at Frederick Douglass High School.

Police say Tiki's fiancé, Joseph Smith, killed the two over the weekend. Demiya was only 12 years old.

Smith is also charged with killing his girlfriend, Loveitt Wallace, and is accused of raping a fourth woman earlier this month.

Funeral arrangements are still pending for the Griffins.

A memorial fund has been set up for them. Donations can be made to the Demiya and Shatikey Griffin Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank.
