Police believe surveillance video may help thieves who broke into about 30 cars at a gated Buckhead apartment complex early Thursday morning.

Police are investigating several car break-ins at an apartment complex on Piedmont Road in Buckhead early Thursday morning.
Atlanta police tell FOX 5 News that about 30 cars were broken into at the gated apartment complex. They say that most of those cars were in a parking garage.
Spare change, CDs, GPS devices and other smaller items were taken from those vehicles while some bigger, more expensive items were left behind.
Investigators say the robberies were caught on camera by the apartment complex's security system. They hope it will lead them to the thieves.
