Get Up and Go's destination for Tuesday is about 25 miles northeast of Atlanta for an event that's been held the last weekend in September since 1983. We're in Gwinnett County for Duluth's Fall Festival!
The festival kicks off Saturday morning at 10 with a huge parade! Four hundred parade participants will march, walk, and ride through downtown Duluth.
The parade is followed by two full days of fall festival fun! There will be continuous entertainment, 350 arts and crafts booths, 50 food options and two areas set aside just for kids!
The Duluth Festival is run entirely by volunteers. You'll know them by their matching Duluth Fall Festival T-shirts.
This festival is more than a weekend event. Proceeds from the festival have helped make many improvements around Duluth such as landscaping, lighting and brick walkways.
The Duluth Fall Festival is this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 a.m.
