Warner Robins players in new Eastwood film

Posted: Updated:
WARNER ROBINS, Ga. -

Two members of an adult baseball league in Warner Robins say they jumped at the chance to try out for Clint Eastwood's new movie "Trouble with the Curve."

Chris Dunn told WMAZ-TV that he and Brian Wilkerson attended the tryouts in Atlanta. Dunn was cast as coach of the Intimidators ball team and Wilkerson as their starting pitcher.

Eastwood plays an aging baseball scout for the Atlanta Braves who take his daughter on a scouting trip. He watches a hitter on the Rome Braves while they play the Intimidators. Wilkerson said he spent hours getting his pitching scene right during the filming in March in Macon. He was pitching to Eastwood's son, Scott Eastwood. Dunn says his friend did like the script said and won the game.
