Funeral held for Buford High School student

BUFORD, Ga. -

Family, friends, and classmates of a Buford High School Student athlete gathered on Wednesday to remember his life.

Adam Smith, 16, was running at the schools track preparing for basketball season when he collapsed and fell last week.

Paramedics were able to revive him, but the junior died at the hospital Sunday night.

Friends say Adam was a talented student-athlete and was a teenager who everyone loved being around.
