ATLANTA -
A water main break continues to cause problems in Brookhaven on Tuesday. The water on Tobey Street near Clairmont Road flooded the area.
The water main break occurred on Monday night. Residents say the water was knee high at one point, and they stacked up cinder blocks to try to keep it from flooding their homes.
Crews uncapped nearby fire hydrants to relieve some of the water pressure, and they continue to work on repairing the broken main. It is not known what caused the water main to break.
The break continues to be a problem for some residents. Several homes in the area remain without water.
