Man accused of bouncing checks for Braves tickets

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA -

The Atlanta Braves say a man got $76,000 worth of tickets by using bad checks.

Police say that 36-year-old James Lally was arrested in Atlanta and made his first court appearance Saturday. His bond was set at $20,000.

He's accused of buying 1,300 tickets and then bouncing the five checks he wrote to pay for them. He's accused of selling the tickets at a bar and online. Authorities are unsure how many were sold. The Braves have deactivated the tickets, but there is no way to know who has the tickets that will no longer work.

Authorities said Lally is also accused of bouncing checks in Florida.
