COLUMBUS, Ga. -
Police have arrested a Columbus man accused of driving a stolen truck to a state parole office.
Randy Harmon of Columbus was arrested Friday and charged with aggravated assault, burglary, false imprisonment, kidnapping, a firearms offense and other crimes.
Authorities said the 26-year-old forced an 82-year-old man into a church, tied him up and stole his truck keys. Harmon was driving the stolen truck when he was arrested outside a parole office.
The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reported that Harmon was being held at the Muscogee County Jail. It was not immediately clear whether he had a defense attorney.
