DULUTH, Ga. -

Hundreds gathered at Saint Benedict Catholic Church in Duluth on Saturday afternoon to celebrate the past 25 years as a community of faith.

Archbishop Wilton Gregory was there to observe the milestone and to bless the new altar in the sanctuary as well as the church's Respect Life Garden.

Father Paul Flood, the church's fourth pastor in those 25 years, tells FOX 5 News that Saint Benedict has expanded several times since its 1987 founding, but that the faith and fellowship, not the facilities, are what they cherish the most.
