One person was injured after a van crashed into a home in DeKalb County on Friday.
According to DeKalb County Police Department spokesperson Mekka Parish, the driver of a Dodge Caravan was involved in an accident on Memorial Drive. He allegedly fled the location and crashed into the house on Belvedere Lane.
The driver was transported to the hospital after sustaining minor injuries. Police said that he is suspected of DUI.
One person was inside the home at the time of the accident, but was not injured, according to authorities.
