TUCKER, Ga. -
A 22-year-old man faces a number of charges after police say he crashed his car with several kids inside it while trying to get away from officers.
DeKalb County officers say they tried to pull Jazmon Wright over on Thursday, but he sped away.
Police decided not chase him.
Investigators say Wright crashed his car nearby at Rockbridge and Allgood Roads.
Medics took Wright and the three children to the hospital with minor injuries.
The children are now with their grandmother.
Police wanted wright for a burglary charge. He now faces charges of cruelty to children, reckless driving and eluding police.
