During his time in the White House, former President Jimmy Carter had experience dealing with Middle East crises. Carter addressed the latest events during his annual town hall meeting at Emory University on Wednesday.
"I think that the facts about what happened in Libya yesterday have not yet been fully revealed. There were first reports that this was an uprising by Islamic believers because of a motion picture that's being made," said Carter.
Some students said that they believed Tuesday's events would be a good test to see how President Barack Obama and Republican Mitt Romney respond to Middle East calamity.
It was the 31st time Carter had addressed the freshman class at Emory.
Carter answered questions from students for about 45 minutes. Carter said that the biggest problem in America is political campaign organization, which is said had been taken over my massive amounts of money.
