Memorial held for Marietta Daily Journal publisher

Hundreds of mourners turned on Wednesday out to remember a long-time publisher and community leader in Cobb County.
Otis Brumby served as publisher of the Marietta Daily Journal for decades.
More than a thousand people attended his memorial at the First United Methodist Church in Marietta.
Among those attending were dozens of past and present elected officials, who said they have enormous respect for what Brumby meant to them and the Cobb County community.
Brumby died Saturday after a two year battle with cancer. He was 72.

After bonding out on a 15-count criminal indictment, DeKalb County CEO Burrell Ellis denied any wrongdoing, saying "I've done nothing wrong."
